Chuckie Egg Remake
Langford's remake of the classic 1983 game Chuckie Egg is sure to delight fans of old and new alike. The game, renowned as one of the best 8-bit platforms of its time, has received an upgrade to meet modern gamers' expectations, with updated graphics and smooth control.
Players take control of 'Hen-House Harry', the protagonist, who must collect his eggs from the clutches of the devious fox, the giant Slater Sloth, and the collapsing ledges and other traps that guard the eggs. The visuals of the remake have been spruced up to bring life to the familiar landscapes from the original, with power ups that give Hen-House Harry a much-needed boost.
The remake allows for easier accessibility on the PC platform and for free, too, making it even more exciting for the returning players and newcomers alike. Whether it be the player’s nostalgia driving their enjoyment of the game, or the new generation's love of pixel graphics, they are sure to appreciate the challenge that Chuckie Egg presents in this remake.
